Every so often, the media conveys a list of influencers, entrepreneurs, and social media moguls that they deem as successful women we all should be following, and each time those list all have one thing in common: they lack representation of Black women.

Sure, it’s not realistic for every black woman to quit her 9-5 and go on the venture of becoming a successful entrepreneur in her industry, but we certainly do have a laundry list of black women who have done just that.
