Ain’t I A Woman: Laura Knights
I started Black Woman Leading™ to support Black women as they learn, heal, and grow in their leadership capacity. Through our signature 13-week learning experience and podcast (launching in April 2021!), we aim to amplify the voices, experiences, and needs of Black women in the workplace by focusing on three core areas—leadership development, mental wellness and collective healing, and relationship management.
I have over 17 years experience as an executive coach, facilitator, trainer, and licensed clinical social worker. I’ve developed both personal and professional development programs that have touched leaders over the world. And I use my unique background to equip people with how to deal with both the “head work” and “heart work” required to succeed at work and in life. But, in everything I have done, it is my commitment to supporting Black girls and women girls throughout my entire professional career that I am most proud of AND that has been the most rewarding. As I help my sister heal and grow, I grow and heal myself.
