The Digital Landscape: All About Home Hustlers Week 2

This week we are back again with yet another recap of an amazing second week of Home Hustlers—our 4-week educational digital event series where we’re calling on all side hustlers, idea creators and innovators that want to take their idea to the next level! Each week we prepare a panel of experts in their careers to help guide and inform our audience through virtual workshops and pep talks they need to know to turn their passions into profit to help them scale their own business.

Home Hustlers Recap Week 2

In Week 2 of Home Hustlers, we focused on The Digital Landscape, as women received the latest on SEO practices to successfully amplify their content all while streamlining their email marketing and social media strategies. The Digital Landscape workshop, hosted by Brittany Njissang, Product Marketing Manager at Square included Tez White Founder of Whishful Looks, Janjay Sherman Senior Brand Strategist at Square, Misa Dinh Head of Growth Marketing at Square and Anjelica Dezel Web Designer and Luxe Brand Strategist.

The Digital Landscape began with a Mindfulness session with wellness coach Elizabeth Ferguson, as she set the tone of tranquility for the start of the day. After completing the mediation session, the panel began with a word from Anjelica Dezel as she made sure to emphasize that “everyone starts from somewhere.” Boss Women Media started in a room with 25 women 3 years ago, and now we have built an entire community of thousands of women! The simple fact of the matter is—just start! As the conversation continued, Tez White shared with our audience that “you may look at others success and think it happens right away, but success takes time.” If you’re a business owner, then you know that success is a true up and down, and what it looks like for others doesn’t mean it will look the same for you.

Boss Women Media’s Founder and CEO Marty McDonald, ended the panel by stating that “your brand identity is the DNA of your business.” Without the established identity of your brand, you truly have no business. After the conclusion of Week 2’s panel, Lady Jade and DJ Tazia got us moving with a dance party break! Lastly, we concluded the day with a workshop hosted by Brittany Njissang, Product Marketing Manager at Square where she went into what it means to amplify your content in a digital landscape.
