Exercise Consistently
Exercising has so many pros and benefits. Not only is it an instant mood-booster, but it also aids in the releasing of endorphins and is of course a complete stress reducer.
Incorporating everyday exercise into your daily routines as a busy boss woman can instantly help you reduce your stress-levels all while remaining fit. Many may not know, but exercising has been found as one of the causes of mood elevation and eliminating depression. When you’re exercising, you’re allowing your mind to release any and all stressful thoughts, which in turn causes you to focus on more mindful and uplifting thoughts that contribute to calming your mind, body and soul. Make it a habit to get into the gym at least 30 minutes each day—your body and mind will thank you for it!

Prioritize and Organize
When your mind is feeling overwhelmed and unsettled, it can cause you lots of stress. In order to reduce that stress, it’s important to visualize and then act on prioritizing and organizing. How many times have you been in a situation where your workspace was extremely cluttered, or you felt overwhelmed because your to-do list for the day was not organized? Sis, we’ve been there too! Focusing your energy on accomplishing 2-3 important things each day will not only give your brain time to rest and catchup, but it will allow you to knock out the bigger and most important things first. A few ways you can remain organized is by using daily calendar apps/planners, setting strict deadlines and sticking to them, making a to-do list, and set clear and obtainable goals and objectives.

We all have these really bad habits that are extremely hard to break at times. No matter how hard we try to stray away from them—we just keep going back. Eliminating negativity and bad habits out of your everyday life is the ultimate stress reducer. Your outlook (negative or positive) can have a huge impact on your everyday life choices, so it’s important to make sure you’re doing all you can to ensure a positive one. Remaining positive will allow you to become more appreciative of the things and people in your life. Focusing on things you can control (instead of those that are out of your control) will not only reduce your stress, but it will also remove anxiety due to that feeling of uncertainty.

The energy and people you keep around you says a lot about who you are and who you attract. Having people around you that are willing to listen to you and hold you accountable are the kind of people you need in your life. Most of the time, when we are able to talk with someone we trust about the stress that is bothering us, it helps alleviate some of those feelings—which is why forming positive relationships is so important. Surrounding yourself with positive relationships can take your mind off the stressors of everyday life and allow you buffer between replacing your stress with positivity.
