Sharing is caring!

Now more than ever, business owners are being faced with having to make some of the toughest decisions surrounding their businesses. We too deem it important as an entrepreneur and business owner to make sure we’re doing our part in producing thought-provoking content for our audience. We’re sharing with you 3 tips to refresh your small business this summer.

3 Tips to Refresh Your Small Business this Summer

1. Storytelling

Storytelling is so important. It’s one of those things we all have, especially if you’re a business owner. You have a long list of to-do’s because you’re always so busy. Now is the time to pull out your paper and find out what needs to be done now that you’re home. So, if you want to retell your brand story, this is the time to do it.

2. Building genuine relationships with customers

As you’re building relationships with your customers, word of mouth begins to take place. Try focusing on your current audience instead of trying to branch out and find/bring in new people. Building these genuine relationships causes you to be intentional with the connections you’re making.

3. Positioning your Brand

When it comes to positioning your brand, take this time to rethink the story you’re telling about your brand. What are the current needs of your brand and how can all parties benefit from this? One thing to also keep in mind during this time, what are your current needs and how can a black woman owned business support those needs?

If you too are an entrepreneur or small business owner, let us know in the comments below some tips and tricks you’ve incorporated into making sure your business remains refreshed during this summer season.

  • This is so good! I’m at the perfect point to refresh my business this summer. I recently took a break from new clients as I purchased a home and got married, and now that the dust has settled on my personal life, I’m ready to hit the ground running with my business again. I’ll be doing a little bit of all 3 tips you named, and that also includes pushing past overthinking and imposter syndrome so I can walk with boldness into this new chapter and focus on my business.
